Sun lounger cushions
Sun lounger cushions need to bend where the back rises, so we make them with a stitched hinge or as two sections. Ties at the head and a mesh base keep them in place and let water escape after a swim. Thinner, firmer foam stops the cushion feeling spongy in heat.

Outdoor cushions for rattan, teak and built in seating

Rattan and woven furniture
Rattan frames often have curved backs and arms. We template the seat so the cushion fits the curve and sits snug against the weave, with ties on the back cushions.
Teak and timber
Timber frames have slatted seats where water drains easily. Quick dry foam with a mesh base works well, and the cushion depth is set to the frame height.
Built in masonry seating
Built in seating around pergolas and fire pits is often long and angled. We cut cushions in sections so they are easy to lift, dry and store, and match pattern across the joins. These are close cousins of our indoor bench cushions.

What is the best fabric for outdoor cushions in Dubai?
Solution dyed acrylic and olefin are the best choices. The colour is added to the fibre before it is spun, so it runs right through and resists UV fading. Both fabrics are also water repellent and resist mould. Printed outdoor fabrics fade much faster in Dubai sun.
Can outdoor cushions stay outside all year in Dubai?
Cushions made with solution dyed fabric and quick dry foam can stay outside, but they will last longer if stored or covered during the hottest summer months, sandstorms and when not in use for weeks. Shade from a pergola or umbrella slows fading. Brushing off sand regularly protects fabric and zips.
Are your outdoor cushions waterproof?
They are water resistant and quick drying rather than fully waterproof. The fabric repels splashes, and reticulated foam lets water drain straight through instead of soaking up like standard foam. After rain or pool splashes, stand cushions on edge and they dry quickly in Dubai heat.
Can you make replacement cushions for my outdoor furniture?
Yes. We make replacement cushions for most outdoor sofas, loungers, chairs and benches, cut to the frame. If your inserts are still good, we can make new outdoor cushion covers only. We measure at your home or work from an old cushion as a starting template.
How long do outdoor cushions take to make?
Most outdoor cushion sets are ready within two to three weeks of the deposit, depending on the number of cushions and fabric availability. Large commercial orders can take longer. The delivery date is fixed in writing when you pay the 50% deposit.
How do I clean outdoor cushions?
Brush off sand and dust regularly. For marks, sponge with mild soapy water and rinse with clean water, then stand the cushion on edge to dry. Many covers can be removed for cleaning. Avoid harsh bleach unless the fabric maker allows it. Our care guide has more detail.
