Every Fabric Room piece is made to order, so we price each job in writing after measuring. Here is exactly what drives the price, what the visit costs, and how payment works.
What is included and what is charged

- Measuring, fabric samples and a written quote within 24 hours, included with the visit
What drives the price

| Size and quantity | More seats, wider windows and more cushions mean more fabric and more making time. |
| Fabric | Fabric is often the largest single cost. Price per metre, width and pattern repeat all count. |
| Foam and fill | High density foam, memory foam, feather wraps and quick dry outdoor foam are priced differently. |
| Construction details | Piping, deep buttoning, channels, pattern matching and box edges add skilled time. |
| Repairs to the frame | Broken joints, springs and webbing are quoted separately after we open the piece. |
| Linings and headings | Blackout, thermal and interlinings, and pinch pleat or wave headings change curtain cost. |
| Tracks and motors | Ceiling tracks, curved tracks and motors are priced per width and per system. |
| Collection and fitting | Included in your quote, and planned on a fixed date. |

Deposits and payment
A 50% deposit confirms your order and books your fitting date in writing. The balance is due on fitting. Quotes are valid for 14 days and show VAT where it applies.

Questions people ask
Can you give a price from photos?
Usually a guide price, yes. Send photos and rough sizes on WhatsApp or through the Design Studio. The written quote follows the home visit, once we have measured and you have chosen fabric.
Do you match competitor prices?
We do not compete on discounts. We quote a fair price for made to order work, a written specification, a quality check before delivery and fitting on a fixed date.
Is VAT included in your quotes?
Every quote shows VAT separately where it applies, so you see the full price before you confirm.
What is usually cheaper, reupholstery or a new sofa?
For a sound hardwood frame, reupholstery usually costs less than a new sofa of the same quality and keeps a piece you already like. Read reupholster or replace for the full comparison.
