The Fabric Room is a Dubai upholstery and soft furnishings house. We sit between the souk workshop and the showroom: design advice and a finish you can trust, made to order at Dubai speed, with one team accountable from sample to fitting.
What we do
We reupholster and repair sofas and chairs, make bespoke sofas, headboards, ottomans, majlis seating, tailored covers and custom cushions, and make and fit curtains, blinds and motorized systems.
How we work
Every job starts with a home visit and our fabric library. Experienced Dubai craftspeople make each piece to our written specification. We inspect and photograph every piece before delivery, then fit it on the date we agreed. See how we work.
Why the name
Everything we make starts with fabric: the sofa, the curtains, the blinds, the cushions. The Fabric Room is the idea of a room full of fabric that comes to your home, so you choose in your own light with someone who knows how each fabric behaves. The button in our logo is the small detail that only looks right when a piece is made properly, and that is the standard we hold every job to.

Dubai has two ways to get soft furnishings made. Showrooms are polished but slow and expensive. Souk shops are fast and affordable but leave the client to manage quality, measuring and fitting. The Fabric Room takes the best of both: experienced makers, a written standard, and one team that is accountable from the first sample to the last bracket.

We come to you instead. The home visit brings the fabric library to your room so you choose colour in your own light, and you can design online first in the Design Studio.
